Curragh double landed!
24th May 2026
We landed a nice double at the Curragh this afternoon. City Of Memphis (5/2) won the Group 2 Landwades Stud Stakes in style for the first leg, swooping down the outside of the field under Billy Lee.
We then ticked off the second winning leg when Precise (4/1) usurped the odds-on fav (and stablemate), True Love, in the Irish 1,000 Guineas, romping home by over two lengths after showing a lovely turn of foot inside the final furlong.
Precise had been easy to back after Ryan Moore picked True Love, but Precise had been drawn on the wrong part of the track on her last run at Newmarket (1000 Guineas), for which she'd also had an interrupted prep, and she turned the tables on her HQ conqueror in style today for a lovely win for NMP members!
BANGARANGA WINS EUROVISION
18th May 2026
Many NMP members enjoy having a bet on Eurovision and this year was no exception with a number of ante post bets advised on record (they were sent via e-mail this year rather than posted on the website).
Although our main ante post fancy, Denmark, were big drifters after being handed a bad slot in the running order by the producers, and finished out of the frame in seventh, we backed Romania EW (12/1, third), Bulgaria 11/4 for a top 10 finish and Moldova for a top 10 finish (15/8), all of which copped. We also had a small chancey bet on Norway (14th) for the top 10 that went very close too!
Bulgaria actually won the whole competition with their catchy track, Bangaranga!

Cheltenham 2026 sign up offer
4th February 2026
The 2026 Cheltenham Festival is now less than five weeks away so I am offering a sign-up offer to new/returning members - sign up for £45 to cover all bets through until 4th April 2026.
Our new AW system selections are flying and we've added +16 pts in January to the +21 pts generated in December - we're +37 pts up from 177 pts staked on the current service so far (+21% ROI). Recent winners are listed in the focus box on the side of this page but include Hitched (7/1), Knight Templar (11/2) and Dapper Gee Gee (8/1). We also landed a mammoth treble last Friday that returned 215/1 from 7/2, 7/1 and 5/1 winners (Doctor Khan Junior, Hitched and Three Non Blondes) on the AW :-)
Please find sign up details on the how to join link - membership is £45 for all bets from now until the 4th April 2026.
KING GEORGE CHRISTMAS CRACKER!
27th December 2025
This year's King George was considered to be one of the greatest renewals of the race, ever, with The Jukebox Man (7/1) coming out on top in a thrilling four-way finish. Ben Pauling's improving chaser was the strongest NMP fancy of the Festival period and members cleaned up when he registered a nose success, landing two winning multiples with Impose Toi (7/2), who won the Long Walk Hurdle at Ascot last weekend, and Idaho Sun (4/1), who landed the Formby at Aintree, also on Boxing Day.
To celebrate a hugely profitable weekend I am offering a membership sign up discount for the next week or so - sign up for £50 to cover all bets until 4th April 2026.
Things are going well on the 2025-26 NMP service and we are set to post a good profit this month, with the new AW system also continuing to churn out winning selections - Queue Dos (14/1 adv, SP 13/2) winning on Boxing Day was our latest double-figure odds winner.
The AW system selections are therefore showing +28 pts profit from 67.50 pts staked (average stake is 0.79 pts and the ROI is +42%) to advised stakes. You could potentially improve returns up to +60.89 pts (+70% ROI) if backing them to 1 pt win stakes. Many of the system winners are listed in the column on the right hand side of this page.Come join us as we move into the New Year and build up to the Cheltenham Festival in the spring, while continuing to churn out the winning AW system selections as well :-).

End Of Season Sign Up Offer
4th June 2025
With the Derby meeting at Epsom this week and Royal Ascot also looming I am offering a sign-up promo for membership for the rest of the 2025 season.A one off payment of £85 covers all selections until the end of the NMP 2025 service (30th November 2025) and represents a notable saving on the price of signing up on a recurring monthly membership (which is £22.50 per month).
Let's hope for a repeat of last year's Royal Ascot, when, among our winners, we backed a winning 87/1 double on Wathnan Racing pair Leovanni and Shareholder (who we also backed singularly in the Queen Mary and Norfolk at 10/1 and 8/1, respectively). Remarkably, Leovanni was a huge drifter on the day and returned 22/1 at SP, so some NMP members actually achieved even greater returns than that in reality!
We also orchestrated a monster gamble on Dark Trooper in the Wokingham, backing him at 25/1 weeks before the race. He was smashed up and went off 4/1 (SP) on the day but he was unfortunately beaten by his draw and finished a close second to Unequal Love. James Doyle described him as "the one that got away" that week....and we were undoubtedly unlucky from landing a mega chop as we had him covered in multiples with our other Wathnan Racing winners that week....but hopefully we can gain compensation this year :-) ...........
+40 PT FESTIVAL? MORE LIKE +140 PT FESTIVAL!!!
15th March 2025
In my last news update I mentioned that in three of the past four Cheltenham Festivals we have won over +40 pts profit over the course of the week, and I asked whether we'd be on for another big week.
Forget making +40 pts, we just made over +140 pts during a magical week in which we backed the following winners:
- Kopek Des Bordes (5/6)
- Lossiemouth (10/11)
- Haiti Couleurs (4/1)
- Stumptown (4/1)
- Marine Nationale (7/1)
- Jazzy Matty (13/2)
- Air Of Entitlement (16/1)
- Fact To File (6/4)
- Doddiethegreat (25/1)
- Jagwar (5/1)
- Kargese (12/1)
- Dinoblue (6/4)
- Inothewayurthinking 13/2 (and 2/1 w/o the fav)
- Wodhooh (13/2)
The highlight of the week was our MAX bet Kargese landing the County Hurdle. On top of the strong single, we also backed her in a 233/1 winning double with Doddiethegreat, who won the Pertemps Final at odds of 25/1 the previous day!
The week started a little slow for us with Majborough (on at 10/3, went off 1/2) turned over in the Arkle and State Man suffering a cruel last-flight fall in the Champion Hurdle, when he was set to romp home.
Luck evened itself out though and once the racing moved to the New Course for the final two days of the Festival, we made up for last time and ended up with 14 of the 28 winners, along with Inothewayurthinkin in the without the fav Gold Cup market.
We are now looking forward to the start of the New turf season in two weeks time. If you are interested in joining the service, please find the sign-up options at the How To Join page!
